Have I mentioned how much I love One Love? Don't know why, it hooked me from first listen and totally got me back into being able to flail over Arashi. ^^
Also...uni exams all over! :)
Hope that I've passed everything so that I can graduate in August.
This day 2 years ago, I became an Arashi fan.
Thank you, Jun, Nino, Sho, Aiba and Ohno, it's been a good two years. <3
Smile Again
Smile Again
Smile Again
Smile Again
Smile again, I'm smiling again.
Hmm...why does it seem so familiar?
Oh must be because it looks just like any other SAFE modern first-world city (although of course the definition of 'safe' varies, you could get mugged and robbed walking down any major city).
Have people looked at a map recently? The quake epicentre and Tibet are FARRRRR away.
It's like getting worried about Arashi going to New York to hold a concert after Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.
And don't even get me started on the Western media bias in reporting the Tibetan issue. I feel like I have to grit my teeth and resist lashing out at people who previously never cared about human rights in China, who are now suddenly raising their fists in anger, protesting for the sake of protesting (although these voices have been silenced a little, sympathetically because of the earthquake).
I am not against protesting, as long as you get your facts right and actually read up about the history of the issue, heck, about the history of China and Western Imperialist powers in the 19th and 20th centuries. You talk about China oppressing the Tibetans but who has ever apologised for the West oppressing the Chinese in the past?
It pisses me off so badly when I see people making all these judgements about China based on just what the media feeds them.

And confession, I think I'm slipping out of this fandom. Someone grab hold onto me! haha.
One more month till I'm done with uni. Mixed feelings...
The last few weeks have been crazy...

A song that I listened to alot in 2005, Hins Cheung's "My Way".
I will find my way
I want a different way
After the wind and rain
There'll be a brand new day
I will find my way
I want a different way
Nothing will stop me now
No matter what they say
i'll find my way
• Singer-songwriter Aiko (32) is to provide one of the theme songs for the upcoming movie finale to the popular TBS drama series "Hana Yori Dango." Her bittersweet ballad has been provisionally named "Tsukushi's Theme", named after the heroine again played by Inoue Mao (21). The movie's main theme is "One Love" by Arashi, whose Matsumoto Jun (24) again plays her love interest Domyoji Tsukasa. The movie opens on June 28.

Was bored, so I decided to finally look for the chinese version of "Kimi ga iru dake de", the song that Ohno sang on TFP2.
Chinese version is by Takeshi Kaneshiro (金城武)...and the only song of his that I've remembered till this day. Because it's so catchy! But I didn't know the song title though...
The music video is really..........as expected of the early 90s? Retro retro retro.
CLUB @ youtube (It's a "live" version, REALLY GOOD! seems like a recent performance.)
Want to make a gif out of this but am lazy (also, no time).
言い出せなくても構わないなんて 恋するチカラに敵わないんじゃない <- 'resemblance' in lyrics, maybe that's why he did that "heart overflowing with love" gesture as well?
PS: Don't you guys think that Leader on this week's Shukudai-kun, especially during Shiodome Aibaland was exceptionally CUTE? What is with the look on his face when he was carrying on with the book-on-the-head game when Nino had already won. And the sound effects were especially made of win. haha, kind of feel that this episode has been abit overlooked because of the DVD...
(skip if you haven't watched and don't like spoilers!)
no screencaps :( because vox keeps rejecting my uploads...
- one of the hosts laughed so much at Arashi's antics, at one point, he even had to hold onto his stomach while laughing. LOL
- they were so good that even when it seemed like they were not going to clear, they cleared at the last minute (literally, last seconds). i.e. Sho's banana soccer game.
- Nino & Aiba-chan. I am never going to get sick of them two going at it, and Aiba-chan saying "urusai" to Nino and smacking his head at one point. (Not the other way around yo! woohoo)
- The face that Leader made to Aiba-chan to hint to him during the music segment when Aiba-chan still couldn't guess what the song was. ROFL.
- At the beginning of the Wall Crash game, Jun rubbed Aiba-chan's face with his velcro gloves which led to Aiba-chan shouting "itai itai itai!" HAHAHAHAHA here I am being Do-S together with Jun.
- The fact that Jun listens to The Beatles. I love all the songs he listed, especially Hey Jude :)
many many more...
- Just the 5 of them, being a team. And working so well together.
9 years of chemistry
